What is an Event Action?
An Event is one of the action types available in Qomon, designed for organizing gatherings, whether in-person, online, or hybrid. It's ideal for volunteer meetups, training sessions, town hall meetings, webinars, or any activity that requires participant sign-ups and engagement tracking.
Creating an Event action in Qomon generates a public RSVP page you can share with users and non-users alike.
⚙️ How to create an Event
Go to the Actions tab and click "Create Action", then select "Event".
Add your Event details (title, description, image, organizers), and set the date and time. You can choose to make your event in-person, online, or hybrid.
🙋 Choose how participation works
This step is key: decide who can sign up for your event.
Open to all (public): Anyone with the link can sign up. Great for reaching new people and expanding your community.
Open to users only: Only users in your Qomon space can participate.
👉 Note: You can also set a target number of participants for the event—perfect for RSVP-only or limited-capacity gatherings.
🌐 Sharing & promoting your event
Once your event is created, it will be published and ready to share. You can:
Send the public RSVP link via text, email, or social media
Embed the RSVP page on your website
If private, send a push notification directly to your Qomon users
All RSVPs will be automatically added to your CRM and linked to the event.
