Using Offline mode for canvassing in Qomon
Canvassing in areas with low connectivity? No problem! Qomon allows canvassers to download an action in advance, so they can continue working even without an internet connection. Follow the steps below to use offline mode effectively.
📥 Downloading an action for offline use
Go to your canvassing action: Navigate to the action you plan to work on.
Download the action: Click the download button. If the action is large, downloading may take a bit longer. Once completed, it will display "Available offline".
☁️ Enabling offline mode
Enter offline mode: Return to the Actions tab and tap the cloud icon in the top-right corner. A message will confirm: "You've enabled offline mode."
Work without an internet connection: From this point on, your app will not use mobile data or Wi-Fi. This means you won’t be able to access other materials or actions until you reconnect.
Note: The canvassing map is not available in offline mode.
🚀 Carrying out canvassing in offline mode
Continue Your Canvassing Action: Tap your downloaded action and proceed as usual. You can complete surveys and update contact or address information.

🔄 Syncing data once reconnected
Reconnect to Sync Your Data: Once you have Wi-Fi or mobile data again, tap "Reconnect" at the top of the screen. All data collected in offline mode will start syncing automatically.
Side note: If you no longer need an action downloaded, go to your Profile tab > Settings > Offline Mode > Clear stored data
