How Do Qomon and New/Mode Integrate?

Add Email-to-Rep, Click-to-Call, Letters to the Editor, and other Advocacy tools to your Qomon with the New/Mode integration.

What is New/Mode?

New/Mode is an advocacy and civic engagement platform that turns supporters into an organized, vocal movement - giving them direct channels to reach elected officials, government decision-makers, and other targets you define.

New/Mode also provides comprehensive datasets of decision-makers at every level of government across multiple countries, making it easy to identify and reach the right representative, councillor, or MP.

With the Qomon/New/Mode integration, you can bring targeted advocacy actions - Email-to-Rep, Click-to-Call, Letters to the Editor, Social Advocacy, and more - directly into your Qomon campaigns.

🤝 Why integrate Qomon & New/Mode?

Qomon is where you build and mobilize your community: canvassing, calling, events, petitions, emails, CRM, and more. New/Mode is where that mobilization turns into direct pressure on decision-makers.

Together, the two platforms let you:

  • Add advocacy tactics to your action toolkit: give your Qomon community more ways to take action with dedicated advocacy tools like Email-to-Rep, Click-to-Call, or Letters to the Editor.

  • Precisely target decision-makers at every level: use New/Mode's dataset to automatically match each volunteer or supporter with their correct representative, senator, MP, city councillor, or other official.

  • Keep a single, consolidated contact database — supporter data collected through New/Mode syncs into the Qomon contact card you already use to track canvassing, calls, and donations.

🔛 How the integration works

The integration syncs contact data from New/Mode into Qomon (one-way).

  • Contacts: Supporters who take a New/Mode action sync to Qomon, including name, email, address, and phone.

  • Matching: Contacts are matched between the two systems by email address.

  • Data Mapping: Once connected, you choose which New/Mode fields map to which Qomon contact properties using a simple mapping table. You can add or remove mappings at any time.

  • Tags: By default, tags applied to a contact in New/Mode sync to the matching tags taxonomy in your Qomon account.

  • Opt-outs: By default, a contact opt-out on the New/Mode side syncs to the black_list field in Qomon.

🎯 Targeting decision-makers

When you launch a New/Mode campaign, supporters are automatically matched to the correct decision-maker (representative, senator, MP, mayor, city councillor, and more) based on their address.

This means you can build a Qomon action around "email your representative" or "call your city council" without building or maintaining a target list yourself: New/Mode's dataset does it for you.
