How to Interpret Territory Scores

Each territory has a stable score that helps you compare and prioritize it against all other territories. This means:

  • A territory keeps the same score even when you zoom in or out (for example from country to region)

  • Priority zones (1-5) can still change depending on what you’re viewing, but the score stays the same

As a result, rankings are easier to understand and compare.

🔍What might look slightly different

After the update, it is possible that some territories may move between priority zones. These changes are usually subtle and only noticeable if you compare results before and after the release. They reflect a more consistent way of scoring territories.

🤝What stays the same

  • You still build Territorial Analyses the same way

  • Priority zones (Priority 1–5) are always relative to what you’re viewing (top 20% = Priority 1, bottom 20% = Priority 5)

  • Performance remains fast and responsive

Your workflows and results remain familiar.

📊Why scores are more reliable now

Qomon now evaluates territories based on their ranking compared to others, not just their individual data results. This makes scores:

  • More consistent across views

  • More reliable for totals (such as population)

  • Easier to reuse across analyses

📋Release note

Qomon is rolling out an updated Math Modeling engine — the first major evolution since 2018! This change improves score stability, consistency, and relevance, with minimal visible impact.
