What is Territorial Analysis?

Territorial Analysis helps you compare and prioritize geographic areas using custom criteria, filters, and weights to decide where to act for the biggest impact!

With Territorial Analysis, you can:

  • Prioritize areas based on the criteria that matter most to you (ex: turnout, support, population density, etc.).

  • Use advanced filters to refine your targeting (ex: only showing areas with less than 60% turnout).

  • Select your zones directly from the map or list.

  • Create and save multiple custom analysis views depending on your needs.

It’s ideal for organizations that want to go deeper in analyzing outreach performance or targeting specific populations.

The territorial analysis feature is an add-on. Contact support or your account manager for more details!

🗺️ How to access it

  1. Go to your Qomon web platform and head to the maps tab.

  2. Toggle on Territorial Analysis from the top menu.

  3. You’ll see a panel listing any existing analyses, which you can view, edit, or duplicate.

✏️ Create or edit an analysis

You can start from scratch or build on a previous analysis.

  • Click "Start new" to create a new one.

  • Or select an existing one and click "Edit" or "Duplicate".

When you add a new analysis, you'll:

  • Enter a name and choose your analysis factors: you'll see the prompt "I'm looking for zones where..."

  • Select your criteria and assign weights to indicate their importance.

  • You can select multiple criteria.

  • Click Validate once your factors are set.

  • Then click Show Results to view the outcome of your configured analysis.

⚖️ Understanding weights and filters

This is where Territorial Analysis becomes even more powerful:

  • Assign weights to each factor to control its importance in the analysis

    • Define the weighting of your priority criteria on a scale from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest). This determines the impact of each criterion in the analysis

  • Use filters such as:

    • "Only include zones where support > 70%"

    • "Only show areas where support is between 60% and 80%"

This allows you to create highly customized territory breakdowns.

🔎 View and act on results

Once your analysis is built, you can:

  • View results in list and map view

  • Click on priority levels to select and highlight them on the map

  • Select directly on the map to perform actions on specific territories

Example actions:

📂 Save your analysis

You have two options:

  • Update an existing analysis

  • Save as New to preserve the original version

Saving lets you maintain different versions of analyses based on your evolving campaign strategy.
