What are Push Notifications and the Benefits?

Push notifications are messages that pop up on mobile phone screens when the Qomon app isn’t open 📲.

  • Real-Time Communication: Ideal for reminders, goal updates, or team congratulations.

  • Quick Interaction: Recipients can open the app directly from the notification.

  • Simple to Use: Write short, punchy messages - no layout or signature needed.

🔊 When to Use Notifications

  1. General Updates

    • Go to Engage > Communications > Push Notifications > Send Push or Users & Teams > Notify my Community to send custom messages.

    • Choose to send a push notification, or a push notification + email:

  2. Documents

  3. Actions

    • Notify Volunteers: Click save and choose to notify participants when editing actions.

    • Automatic Reminders: Members receive a notification the day before the event.

    • Follow-Up: Click "Notify Attendees" to reach out to members who haven’t confirmed attendance.

⚠️ Important Notes

Notifications depend on the recipient's mobile settings. If notifications are disabled, they won’t receive them as push notifications.

However, they will still appear in the Mobile Inbox within the Qomon app.
