Import Custom Fields

Importing custom fields may require certain specificities. Here are the particulars for each type of custom field.

How to Import Custom Fields?

You can import any available information from your contact record into Qomon.

Depending on the desired field types, there is a format to follow to ensure a smooth import process.

How to Import Each Type?

The field must be created beforehand in the contact record settings before importing. See how to do it.

  • Short answer : No specific format required. It is imported like any other field.

  • Numeric: No specific format required. Ensure that only numerical characters are present in the imported values.

  • Date:

Standard Date Formats:

  • You can import formats: DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY/DD/MM and YYYY/MM/DD

  • Accepted separators: "/" ; "." ; "-" ; " "

  • Single response: Create the different options you want to import in the contact record settings BEFORE importing. The import cannot create new options.

    If any of the imported values do not exist, the corresponding line in your file will result in an error.

  • Checkbox:

    1. Create the different options you want to import in the contact record settings BEFORE importing. The import cannot create new options.

    2. During the import, each "answer" must have its own column. You must then select the "Question" column as many times as there are "answers" (hence separate columns).
