🔐 What is a Locked Field?

A locked field is a specific option that can be enabled for certain fields in the contact card.

Only users with the appropriate permissions can modify these fields. For other users, these fields remain visible in read-only mode, meaning their values cannot be edited or deleted.

  • This feature is particularly useful for ensuring the integrity of essential information and preventing accidental or unauthorized modifications.

Managing locked fields is an exclusive feature available on Premium and Organization plans. Contact our sales team for more details.

Who can modify a Locked Field?

Only users with specific editing permissions can change the value of a locked field. If you do not have these permissions, you will be able to view the information but not edit or delete it.

How to set up a Locked Field?

Locked fields can be configured directly in the "Contacts/CRM" section of your space settings. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your space settings

  2. Navigate to the "Contacts/CRM" menu

  3. Select the fields you want to lock

  4. Save your changes

Once configured, only authorized users will be able to modify these fields.

💡 Tip: Adjust the permissions related to this feature in your role management settings.
