Understanding Your Email Credits

Read this article to learn how email credits work and when they renew.

When do credits renew?

Email credits included in your subscription renew on the 11th of each month. Important to note:

  • Email credits do not carry over if they are not used

  • Any unused credits will expire when your credits renew

  • Your subscription always renews on the 11th, regardless of when you signed up

Note: 1 email credit = 1 email sent


📧Adding more email credits

If you need additional email credits, you can purchase them at any time from the Communications tab by selecting Get Extra Packs.

Once purchased, the additional credits will appear automatically in your account.


❔What uses credits

The following communications consume email credits:

  • Email Campaigns / Direct Emails - Each email sent through an email campaign or direct email will use credits.

  • Action Flow Emails - Automated emails sent through Action Flows will use credits.

System-generated emails sent to platform users do not consume email credits. This includes:

  • Password reset and account recovery emails

  • Action notifications

  • User invitation emails

  • Push notifications

  • Other platform-generated user notifications

These operational emails are included as part of the platform and do not count against your email credit balance.
