How do I access the Data Explorer?

To access the Data Explorer, you must have an active subscription to the Data Add-on.

Next, go to the “Map” tab, where you’ll see two buttons at the top of the screen:

  • Explore data: to easily navigate through all available data in your area.

  • Target territories: to launch your analyses and identify your priority areas to target.

Click “Explore Data” to open the data browser and select the data to display on the map.

🔎 Explore the data on the map

The Data Explorer is designed to make your searches easier with:

  • An intuitive tree structure

The data is organized more clearly, in a logical sequence, to help you find it more quickly.

  • A “Featured” section

Certain data points are highlighted to help you quickly identify the most relevant indicators.

  • A history of viewed data

Easily find the data you’ve viewed most recently in your search history.

  • A "Favorites" section

You can now add data to your favorites for quick access during your next sessions. Simply click the star icon to add a data set to your favorites.

  • A Smart Search Bar

A search bar allows you to access specific information directly.

Simply type in a keyword (for example, a candidate’s name or a word like "housing") to display the corresponding results (e.g., the candidate’s results from the last election).

💡 Search history and favorites are specific to each user.

If you add an item to your favorites, it will be saved only to your account and will not be visible to other users, even within the same space.

ℹ️ Detailed information for each data point

For each available data point, a small “ℹ” button is displayed next to it.

Clicking on it opens an information box providing further details about the selected data point.

This may include:

  • A methodological explanation

  • The data source

  • The precise definition of the indicator

This information helps you better understand and interpret the indicators displayed on the map.
