How to use the document sharing feature?

The objective of this function is to provide your members with the possibility of consulting mobilization materials anywhere and at any time. From the Qomon mobile app, you can access all documents shared by your organization's admins.

Imagine a digital briefcase... Well, Qomon has done it! 💼

How can the "documents" feature serve as a central sharing point?

Admin and Staff have access to the "Documents" feature. They can not only add documents, but also consult or download them! Qomon can, therefore, become your central sharing platform.

This will prevent documents from getting lost in the many emails we receive! 📬

Note: Members cannot upload documents, they can only view and download them.

How does document sharing work?

Sharing a document from the web platform is done in a few simple steps:

  • Go to the “Materials” tab found under the “Mobilize” section in the left menu bar.

  • Click on “+ Add materials”

  • Choose either to upload a file from your device or to link a Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or iCloud file, as well as share a link.

  • Name the document or material to help your volunteers stay organized and mobilize quickly!

  • Ensure that you manage sharing preferences by turning on or off “Authorize sharing from the mobile app” which lets your users easily share a document with messaging systems, social networks, email, Bluetooth, and Airdrop.

💡You can label your documents as internal or external so that the person consulting them can know at a glance what type of document they are dealing with.

💡 By linking a file from Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox, you're able to control permissions and access rights right from those platforms. This means that when you'd like to share sensitive documents with a select few within your Qomon space, you're able to do so without worrying about other members being able to open it.

And that's it 👍

Your teams now have the materials you just shared directly on their Qomon mobile app and will be able to use it in their actions.
