Welcome to the Qomon community, get ready!

Here are the 5 key steps to get started.

1. Import your data πŸ“ˆ

One of the features of Qomon is that you can gather and store all your data in one place. Collect and categorize all contacts you meet during your actions.

Your contact database will become the hub of your movement.

Start by importing all information you have on your community, in XLS or CSV format (comma separated files).

(For example: Electoral lists, census files or internal databases)

Contact our teams if you have any questions about the format of the file or the correspondence between the fields in your old database and those in Qomon.

If you have a contact database file, this is an important step that will save you time in your actions.

1.1 Remember to de-duplicate πŸ›‘

The likelihood of having some duplicate contacts when importing from multiple sources is high. Make sure to consolidate your duplicates in order to start with a clean database on your Qomon space.

2. Get people to act: Recruit and invite your volunteers to act on Qomon πŸ‘Š

Your staff and volunteers are the backbone of your movement.

To help you organize and motivate your team, you need to invite them to join your organization on Qomon.

Assign them roles, give them missions, invite them to mobilization actions and events: Engage with your community!

3. Set up your personal space πŸ”§

Update the default settings on your Qomon space. The platform should look like you!

Customize it according to your terms and needs.

3.1 Modify your support levels πŸ“Š

Support levels correspond to the main categorization of citizens according to your project.

3.2 Modify tasks βš™οΈ

Tasks are actions you have to carry out after a meeting with citizens. Do not leave any specific request unanswered!

The citizen has spent time to give you feedback, this is the most valuable thing you can have.

3.3 Customize your contact details πŸ“²

The contact form contains fields on personal information that you choose to collect on a citizen after your encounter (Name, first name, address, etc.). Choose the fields that interest you and that you want to make visible, but especially those that you want to make mandatory!

3.4 Create your survey πŸ“‹

A survey is a great way to get a conversation started. It helps you gather useful information or to simply create a new contact.

Remember to contact the support team if you need advice or help with setting your survey up.

3.5 Import materials πŸ“ƒ

Give access to material : documents, flyers, or other materials with just a few clicks.

Your volunteers will be able to consult them directly from the mobile application.

4. Observe and analyze your territory πŸ”

Qomon gives you access to an interactive mapping tool through which you can explore socio-economic and electoral data (average age, accessibility to transport, vote in municipal elections, etc.)

4.1 Consult your target territories πŸ—ΊοΈ

These territories correspond to identified areas in which you are likely to find the profile of citizens you wish to meet.
The aim is to concentrate your efforts in the areas that are most interesting to you.

4.2 See all available data 🌍

Consult all socio-economic and electoral data of your territory in order to know it by heart! This will be essential for targeted actions or communications.

(Availability depends on your region)

5. Launch your first actions! πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Let's go! πŸš€

Your Qomon space is ready to collect all the data and contacts you will gather during your actions.

Use the different types of actions available in Qomon: organize canvassing actions, phonebanking, mailings, share messages, share on social media, etc...

(The ability to do some actions are dependent on your subscription level with Qomon)
