What is the Transactions Feature?
A transaction on Qomon refers to a donation or membership. This feature on Qomon helps you centralize and manage all donation activity in one place—whether the donations come from online fundraising platforms, memberships, or in-person contributions.
⚠️ This is an add-on. Contact support or check this article to find out more on activating this feature.
☝️With this feature, you can:
Add transactions manually (e.g. cash, check, or offline contributions)
See a clear overview of donations and membership activity in a dedicated dashboard
Edit donation details (amount, source, date, etc.)
Filter transactions by status, amount, date, campaign code, payment method, and more
Export transaction lists for reporting or finance purposes
It also functions as a lightweight fundraising CRM, letting you:
Track contributions from individuals, members, or elected officials
View donor history and contribution totals directly from contact profiles
💡 Note: Qomon does not process payments. All payments are handled by your connected provider (Stripe, Rgoods).
🧾 How a transaction appears on a contact card
When a transaction is added, it appears on the contact's Contact card (just select any contact from your database). Here’s what you’ll see:
The amount, type (donation, membership, etc.), and date of the transaction
The payment method (e.g. cash, cheque)
The status (e.g. valid, refunded, unpaid)
Any associated product (e.g. “Full Membership”)
To view more details, click the three dots next to the amount and select "See transaction"—this will open the full transaction in the Transactions tab.
All transactions are stored chronologically, so you get a complete picture of the contact’s giving or membership history at a glance.
💼 Who can use this feature?
The donation feature is available to organizations that have it enabled by the Qomon team. Once activated:
Access is controlled by user roles and permissions
Some users can view donation data, while others can log or edit transactions
With custom roles and permissions, they can be adapted for admins, treasurers, or finance teams as needed
🔗 How can it connect to your tools?
Qomon integrates with the payment providers Stripe and Rgoods to automatically sync online donations.
Public donation pages (via Rgoods or Stripe Connect) feed into Qomon automatically
Each transaction is linked to a contact, giving you a full donor history
You can tag donations with campaign codes to track specific fundraising efforts
No manual entry is needed for synced contributions—but you can still log offline ones manually
