You’ve exceeded your contact limit

We know — seeing a message about limits or billing isn’t exactly exciting.

But here’s the thing: your contact limit exists to make sure every contact you import is fully cared for — geocoded, safely stored, regularly backed up, and easy to recover if anything ever goes wrong.

That’s how we keep your data safe, your maps accurate, and your operations are running smoothly.

Why you’re seeing this message

Your plan includes a certain number of contacts. When you go over that number:

  • The system automatically extends your contact limit so your operations continue without interruption.

  • This triggers a small billing update to match your new tier — ensuring all services like geocoding, storage, and backups keep working reliably in the background.

    How the billing works

If you exceed your contact limit, your invoice will show a new line:

Contact Limit Exceeded — it covers the extra contacts you’ve added.
The amount is pro-rated, meaning you only pay for the time left until your next renewal (monthly, yearly, or multi-year).

  • If you’re on a monthly plan
The adjustment will appear directly on your next monthly invoice, calculated pro rata temporis.

  • If you’re on an annual or multi-year plan
Exceeding your limit will automatically trigger a new invoice, covering the prorated difference up to your annual contract anniversary date — even if you’re on a multi-year plan.

If you delete contacts later

No worries — the system keeps things fair. If you bring your total back below the limit:

  • Within 24 hours, the system automatically recognizes the change.

  • A credit note is generated, calculated pro rata temporis, and will be applied to your next invoice.

Exceeding your contact limit doesn’t stop your work — it just keeps your services running safely and smoothly.
We charge only for real usage, and we credit you back when that usage drops.
