Imported contacts explained
Once your import is complete, you’ll receive a summary of the processed contacts.
There are three types of outcomes during an import:
New Imported Contacts
These are entirely new contacts added to your Qomon database.Updated Existing Contacts
When the system identifies a contact in your import file that is identical to an existing Qomon contact, it updates the contact with the new properties from your import.⚠️ Important: This process replaces the old data in the existing contact with the data from the imported contact.
Duplicate Imported Contacts
If the system detects a contact in your import file that resembles an existing contact but isn’t identical, it flags it as a duplicate.You can choose to either import the flagged contacts or exclude them.
If you decide to import, the flagged contacts may create duplicates in your database, but you can merge them later using the manage duplicate tool.
