A duplicate in Qomon's CRM

A duplicate in Qomon occurs when two or more contacts share similar or identical information. This often happens when:

  • A file is imported into your database

  • A contact is manually added by a team member

  • A contact is added through a form, petition, or integration

Duplicates can lead to incomplete data, double-counting, and confusion when engaging with your supporters or contacts.

That’s why Qomon provides tools to easily identify, review, and merge duplicates—helping you keep a clean and reliable database.

🔧 Managing duplicates with Qomon

To manage duplicates, use the Search duplicates feature in your contact database:

  • Go to Engage > Contacts > Search duplicates

  • Choose your search scope (all contacts, a saved list, or soon: limit by specific rules/fields)

  • Define criteria such as exact match or similar match

  • Review groups of potential duplicates

  • Merge duplicates, or mark them as “not duplicates” if they should remain separate
