Manage Tags in Qomon

Learn what tags are, how to create them, and how to use them to organize your contacts in Qomon.

What are Tags?

Tags are labels you can assign to contacts to help categorize and organize them in Qomon. They can be used to identify specific characteristics, interests, or groups, such as:


📲 Why use tags?

Tags help you quickly identify and group contacts for specific actions or campaigns.

For example, you can use tags to:

  • Target specific audiences

  • Build filtered contact lists

  • Track engagement or support levels

  • Organize contacts imported from different sources

  • Simplify outreach and follow-up activities

Note: If you are unable to create or manage tags, you may not have the required permissions. Contact a member of your organization for access.


🏷️ How to create and manage tags

To manage tags:

  1. Go to your profile in the bottom-left corner of the screen

  2. Open Settings

  3. Navigate to Contacts / CRM > Tags

From there, you can:

  • Create a tag to use across your contacts

  • Rename a tag to update it everywhere it is used

  • Delete a tag to remove it from all associated contacts

You can add tags:


💻 Add tags during a contact import

You can assign tags while importing contacts into Qomon. Adding tags during import helps ensure your contacts are categorized immediately.

To add tags during import:

  1. Start your contact import

  2. Match your import fields and select the tags you want to apply

  3. Preview your import and complete the process

All imported contacts will automatically receive the selected tags. Read our import FAQ for more information.


📋 Add tags after an import

You can also tag contacts after they have been imported.

To add tags after import:

  1. Use advanced filters to find the desired contacts

  2. Select the relevant contacts

  3. Click to add one or more tags and save

You can then create a contact list based on those tags for easier management and future outreach.
